The first place you need to check out is the Events Calendar on the Silver Star website. It’s packed full of information for both residents and guests to check the list of activities going on. Lessons, night skiing, live music and a climbing wall are all at your fingertips if you want to take a break from skiing, but that’s not all, not even close.


Cross-Country Skiing

Do you have a more active lifestyle? Between Silver Star and Sovereign Lake Nordic Centre, you could have up to 105km of daily groomed trails? It’s the largest continually groomed network of cross country ski trails in Canada. Don’t worry Silver Star offers cross country ski lessons and rentals as well.

Snowshoeing
Silver Star offers back country guided tours giving residents and guests the opportunity to go off-trail and learn steep terrain techniques in a safe controlled environment. Between Silver Star and Sovereign Lake there are another 14km of marked trails that you can access on your own.

Brewer’s Pond
Is skating more your cup of tea? Head to Brewer’s Pond, a 2.5 acre frozen outdoor pond.  Rent skates and pretend you are Virtue and Moir or grab a stick and do your best Bobby Orr impression!

More Activities

It doesn’t end there though. Grab a tube and go sliding at Tube Town or take a horse drawn carriage ride out to the Horseman’s Cabin. Rent a Fat Bike and ride on the snow trails.
