POWDR Purchases SilverStar Mountain Resort

December 3, 2019 – SilverStar has just announced that it has sold it’s operation to a US-based company. POWDR, an adventure lifestyle company with destinations across North America, has acquired SilverStar Mountain Resort. Details of the purchase have not been disclosed.

POWDR, a US-based adventure lifestyle company has numerous destinations across North America.  With the company mostly focussed on resorts in the United States, POWDR will assume operations effective immediately. The acquisition of SilverStar is POWDR’s first foray into mountain resorts in Canada.

Skiers and pass holders will see no changes to 2019/20 season passes, current operations or the reciprocal agreements with other resorts. Just recently opened, SilverStar has had great recent snowfall.  Also, the great opening weekend complete with our annual light up celebration set the scene for what promises to be another phenomenal season. Due to today’s exciting news, SilverStar Mountain Resort is now well-positioned to be the best version of itself for years to come.
