Just as a reminder to all our homeowners and residents at Silver Star Mountian of recent changes up at the mountain. Besides the purchase of SilverStar by POWDR, FORTISBC has purchases Stargas and is now the official supplier of natural gas to the mountain. In addition, the Regional District of the North Okanagan (RDNO) has adjusted the hours of the garbage transfer station. Effictive immediately, dropoff hours for garbage are as follows:
Winter Peak (Nov 15 – Apr 15): Sun-Fri from Noon until 5pm
Summer Peak (Jul 1 – Aug 31): Sun, Mon, Thur and Fri from Noon until 5pm
Off Peak: Sunday and Friday from Noon until 5pm
